Old Game Memories Hit Hard

When you replay an old game and realize it's the memories you miss, not the game

Tom from Tom and Jerry wears a suit and looks sorrowful against a dark outdoor background. The joke is that replaying an old game can reveal that nostalgia is for the memories and time associated with it, rather than the game itself. This is used as a melancholic reaction to aging, nostalgia, and realizing that the past cannot be recreated.
