Average Man Walking Alone

average man's thoughts when walking alone

A first-person video follows a man’s shoes along a dimly lit sidewalk at night, lined with trees and passing cars. The caption jokes that an ordinary man’s inner thoughts while walking alone are aggressively self-loathing and bizarre, matching the dark, ominous mood of Młody Baku’s song “I spoke with the devil in New Austin (He said everything would not be fine).” The music makes the mundane walk feel like a grim psychological monologue.
