Swimmers Distract the Free Throw

HOLY CROSS BASKETBALL

What it means

During a college basketball free throw, members of the Holy Cross men’s swimming team emerge from the pool area in swimsuits and caps, waving and running along the stands to distract Boston University. The absurd interruption succeeds as a playful distraction, while the announcer reacts to the swimmers returning and the basketball action resumes; arena ambience and the basketball bounce heighten the comedic timing.

Speech

And Ethan Acosta just made a shot with the Holy Cross swim team bursting out of the nearby pool for a little distraction duty. He was able to answer the call. That was perfect too. Did they come? They're back. Got them both. Back to work guys.
