Wasting Another Year

Text on the meme

Me at 00:00 on New Year's Day realising I've just wasted a year of my life and now im going to waste another one

What it means

A distorted, high-contrast video of Michelangelo’s David statue alternates between a warped close-up and a stern frontal view. The caption jokes about realizing at midnight on New Year’s Day that the past year was wasted, while immediately accepting that the next year will be wasted too. The dramatic vehicle-like audio and looping visual exaggerate the mock-tragic resignation, making it useful as a reaction to procrastination or failed self-improvement.
