Marine Biologists Packing Up After Being Fired

Text on the meme

Marine biologists packing up their things after being fired

What it means

A dark underwater video shows a swarm of small fish darting around a rocky seabed and a bright yellow piece of diving equipment, as if marine biologists are hurriedly gathering their belongings after being fired. The absurd caption personifies the fish and turns their frantic underwater movement into a relatable workplace-exit joke. The audio ends with “Thanks for watching!”, adding a mock-video-outro effect.
