Geometry Dash True Story
DID YOU KNOW? "Geometry Dash" was inspired by a true story about a man named Joe Metri Desh, who had been imprisoned in an arena and forced to jump over spikes for the amusement of the audience, in 1847.
A parody fact-check meme shows the Geometry Dash icon beside a blocky-faced man, followed by a fake historical claim that Geometry Dash was inspired by Joe Metri Desh being forced to jump over spikes in an arena in 1847. The joke is the absurdly literal invented backstory for the game’s square character and obstacle-filled gameplay.
