Saving the Cat for Later

saving him for later at peak freshness

A sleeping orange-and-white cat lies in the footwell of a car, next to a second image showing the cat wrapped tightly in aluminum foil like stored food. The joke treats the cat as something being preserved for later at its freshest, parodying food-storage language and creating an absurd reaction meme. It can be sent when joking about saving someone or something for later.
