Helicopter Seeds
You know what I call them? Helicopter seeds.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s character holds winged maple seeds beside the water and calls them “helicopter seeds,” then tosses them into the air as they spin away. The joke is the playful childlike name for samaras, often shared to express delight in a simple observation or an oddly satisfying moment.
