OMG so Albert Einstein was a real person. All this time i thought he was a theoretical physicist.
A black-and-white photograph shows Albert Einstein in a formal suit. The joke comes from misreading “theoretical physicist” as meaning a physicist who exists only in theory, rather than someone who studies theoretical physics. It is used as an absurd reaction to a literal misunderstanding.
