EN: A Twitter profile screenshot titled “Traditionalist Art” shows an avatar of an ancient statue and an anime couple sitting on a sofa. The joke comes from the ironic contrast between claiming to seek “real beauty” and displaying a cute but distinctly modern anime illustration. The meme is used as a reaction to performative traditionalism that turns out to be selective or hypocritical.
