Hikari Chan Lost Her House

Text on the meme

>wild tsushima cat named Hikari chan was finally let be free in the mountains of Tsushima island. Bye bye hikari chan... >her face was not happy at all and she seemed anxious as hell. Why every animal in japan is neet mentality? Hikari chan"where is my house...halp..."

What it means

A worried-looking cat sits halfway inside a pet carrier in a mossy forest after supposedly being released into the mountains of Tsushima Island. The joke is that Hikari-chan does not want freedom at all and seems anxious because she misses her house, parodying the stereotype of animals in Japan having a “neet mentality.” This meme is sent as a reaction to feeling overwhelmed by independence or wanting to retreat to a familiar safe place.
