EN: A ferret wearing a funny hat appears behind the table while a person successively gives it an apple, cabbage, and cheese, grates the filling, and fries triangular pastries. In the end, the finished samosas are served with sauce, and the ferret proudly points at the dish. The festive Latin American cumbia Rayito Colombiano — “Muchachita Consentida” makes ordinary cooking feel grand and ceremonial, turning it into an absurd culinary performance that works as a reaction to taking a simple task far too seriously.
