My Mom Said No

Text on the meme

girl: can I have your number me: no it’s mine. girl: but.. me: my mom said no.

What it means

A darkly armored Skyrim character stands motionless beneath a four-line exchange in which a girl asks for his number, but he refuses because his mom said no. The joke combines an intimidating fantasy warrior with an immature, childlike excuse; the dramatic harp-led music from NPC’s “Oblivion” makes the absurd refusal feel unnecessarily epic and serious.
