Workers and Brazilian Street Walker

Text on the meme

American blue-collar worker A Chinese steel worker A Brazilian walking down the street

What it means

The video first shows a humorous split-screen comparison of an American blue-collar worker, a Chinese steel worker, and a Brazilian casually walking down the street. It then cuts to three close-up reaction faces looking shocked and confused, turning the exaggerated comparison into an absurd reaction meme. Meiko Nakahara’s dreamy city-pop song “Fantasy” makes the sequence feel unexpectedly stylish and dramatic, heightening the joke.
