I Prefer the Real Goth

Text on the meme

I prefer the real Goth I said the real Goth Perfection

What it means

A three-panel collage contrasts two goth women with the interior of a Gothic cathedral. A stern man repeatedly clarifies that he means a real Gothic setting, ending with the cathedral as “Perfection.” The meme is sent as an absurd reaction when someone prefers authentic Gothic architecture or atmosphere over goth fashion and subculture aesthetics.
