My Dad Is Dead
‘My dad is dead’
A battered young girl from The Last of Us is shown beside John Marston from Red Dead Redemption, followed by a blank image and a collage of a revolver, cowboy hat, and horse. The joke is that both characters are associated with dead fathers, while the second panel humorously reduces the cowboy character to stereotypical Western props. It is used as an absurd gaming reaction meme about loss, revenge, or cowboys.
