Transporting Myself Back to 2008
Transporting myself back to 2008 through the power of a Sri Lankan woman rapping about selling drugs and murdering people.
A bearded man wearing glasses sits in a car and rhythmically gestures along to energetic music while driving. The caption jokingly describes the song as transporting him back to 2008, contrasting his calm nostalgic vibe with the absurdly violent subject matter of a Sri Lankan woman’s rap. It works as a reaction to music that feels intensely nostalgic despite disturbing or unexpected lyrics.
