Memes Flash Before My Eyes

Me on my death bed but thousands of memes flash before my eyes instead of cherished memories of family and friends

A dark, blurry video shows a mustached man laughing and moving under purple lighting while the caption says that, on his deathbed, thousands of memes flash before his eyes instead of memories of family and friends. The joke treats internet memes as the defining memories of someone’s life, with the eerie, nostalgic music making the absurd reaction feel strangely tragic. The soundtrack is The Caretaker — “A1 - It's just a burning memory,” whose warped ambient sound and laughter create a bleak but comedic contrast.
