Welcome Back Tiananmen Tank Man
Died 1989 Born 1989 Welcome back Tiananmen Tank Man
A split image contrasts the Tiananmen Square Tank Man facing a line of tanks with Taylor Swift, whose album 1989 and birth year are referenced by the caption. The joke darkly treats Taylor Swift as the reincarnation or return of the Tank Man because both are associated with 1989. It is used as an absurd historical reaction meme.
