What They Watched in 2014

Text on the meme

"Kids nowadays only watch brainrot" What they watched in 2014: oh shit lel Rest in pepperoni

What it means

A chaotic montage contrasts modern “brainrot” with what kids supposedly watched in 2014: Shrek clips, crude meme animations, bizarre action footage, explosions, and heavily colorized scenes. The joke nostalgically exaggerates old internet videos as equally nonsensical, while the distorted MLG-style music and abrupt visual effects make the montage feel intentionally over-the-top. The audio features “Deez Nuts Is Truly Mlg” by Mlg, an energetic meme/MLG remix that amplifies the absurdity and nostalgic internet humor.
