I Hate You, Glad to Help

Text on the meme

I hate you If hating me helps you feel better, then I'm glad I could be of service in some way.

What it means

A darkly lit video alternates between a man and a woman beneath a ChatGPT-style exchange: one person says “I hate you,” and the reply calmly welcomes the hatred if it helps them feel better. The punchline is the detached, almost helpful response to hostility, making it useful as a sarcastic reaction to insults or mutual resentment. Harmless’s dreamy indie-pop track “Swing Lynn” gives the exchange a wistful, emotionally detached mood and heightens the dramatic reaction shots.
