A man fishing on a boat catches a fish, then gathers driftwood on a remote shore, builds a rough shelter, lights a fire, and crawls inside as night falls. The repeated “Plan B” caption turns each improvised survival step into an escalating joke about having an absurd backup plan when everything else fails. Empire of the Sun’s “Walking on a Dream” plays over the montage, giving the increasingly desperate actions a dreamy, upbeat, and ironic mood.
