SpongeBob Origin Story Goes Epic
"So there's gonna be this sponge named Bob, and he has square pants"
A blurry, dramatically lit video shows an indistinct figure or scene moving through an orange, fiery-looking glow while the caption calmly describes the future SpongeBob. The overblown visuals and the triumphant music make the ordinary cartoon premise sound like an epic prophecy, creating an absurd reaction meme for exaggerating a simple origin story. The audio is Thomas Bergersen & Two Steps From Hell’s "Heart of Courage," with orchestral, cinematic, heroic music that heightens the joke.
