The Humor Still Holds Up

Text on the meme

Watched The Naked Gun with Leslie Nielsen. Some of the humor is pretty outdated but I think it still really holds up

What it means

A four-panel collage from The Naked Gun shows Leslie Nielsen supporting or physically holding people in various hospital scenes. The joke takes “the humor still holds up” literally, turning the phrase into a visual gag about Nielsen holding people up. It is used as a reaction to praise an older comedy that remains funny.
