Peter Griffin Confederate Gravestone
PETER GRIFFIN PVT 26 GA INFANTRY CONFEDERATE STATES ARMY OCT 24 1843 OCT 6 1916
A gravestone bearing the name Peter Griffin identifies him as a Confederate Army private from Georgia, with dates from the 19th century. The joke places the modern cartoon character in an absurd historical role and is used as a reaction to exaggerated age, outdated behavior, or someone being inexplicably connected to the past.
