You Made It Worse

Text on the meme

I know you're having a bad day so 🤭🤭 You made it worse

What it means

A text-message screenshot shows someone sending a mirror selfie while trying to comfort a friend having a bad day, followed by the reply, “You made it worse.” The joke is that the attempted reassurance is unintentionally upsetting or insulting, making the situation worse; it is used as a reaction when someone’s comment backfires.
