Monday Hits Like a Truck

Text on the meme

monday

What it means

A tired man lies in bed asleep, then the clip cuts to his grim, hollow-eyed face as he realizes it is Monday. Metallica’s heavy metal song “One” intensifies the bleak, oppressive mood, turning ordinary Monday exhaustion into dramatic despair. The meme is used as a reaction to returning to work or reality after the weekend.
