Kitten Thinking About the Future
Thinking nervously about the future, people forget about the present, so they do not live either in the present or for the sake of the future. They live as if they would never die, and when they die, they realize that they have never lived.
A tiny kitten sits alone on a wooden floor beneath a long philosophical caption about anxiety over the future and forgetting to live in the present. The contrast between the serious existential message and the small, concerned-looking kitten makes the image absurd and relatable as a reaction to overthinking or existential dread.
