Sock Puppets Explain the Plot
>girl doesn't understand plot >pause the movie, get out the sock puppets to explain
A girl does not understand a movie’s plot, so someone pauses it and uses sock puppets to explain. The absurd overreaction makes fun of explaining a complicated story in an overly simple, childish way, and it is used as a reaction to confusion or convoluted plots.
