A Spoonful of Mercy

«Jesus I only deserve a spoonful of Your everlasting love, forgiveness and infinite mercy.» Jesus:

A man in a kitchen holds an absurdly oversized spoon. The joke treats a prayer asking Jesus for only “a spoonful” of love, forgiveness, and mercy literally, as if Jesus is about to serve it with a giant spoon. It is used as an absurd reaction to asking for a small amount of something profound or excessive. EN: A man in a kitchen holds an absurdly oversized spoon.
