Using the Spacebar
It's called using the spacebar "Can you explain this gap in your resume?"
Doctor Manhattan stands dramatically while someone asks him to explain a gap in his resume. The punchline is a pun: the “gap” is explained as using the spacebar, referring to the large spaces between words typed with it. People send this as a sarcastic reaction to a literal or deliberately silly explanation.
