If Only You Knew How Bad Things Are

Text on the meme

If only you knew how bad things really are.

What it means

Angela Merkel sits in an audience with a deeply distressed expression while a man in front covers his face. The caption humorously suggests that the visible sadness is only a small part of how terrible the situation really is, making it useful as an exaggerated reaction to bad news or hidden problems.
