Japan Vacation Meets Ohio

Text on the meme

Me arriving in Japan expecting a refreshing vacation when the natives greet me with 'Ohio'

What it means

A traveler arrives in Japan expecting a refreshing vacation, but is confronted by a terrifying red-faced figure in a dark, smoky setting. The joke contrasts idyllic expectations of Japan with the absurd internet meme association of Ohio as a strange or cursed place, making it a reaction to an unexpectedly horrifying situation.
