When She Is Long Gone

Text on the meme

«Hey what happened to that girl you told me about months ago?»

What it means

A close-up video of Homelander sitting indoors and gradually shifting from a blank, restrained expression into visible sadness and near-tears. The joke is that being asked about the girl he mentioned months ago suddenly reopens an emotional wound, making this a reaction for pretending to be fine while still devastated. The melancholic psychedelic rock song “Crying From Wut U Did Lol” by cherryreal intensifies the melodrama and makes his changing expressions funnier.
