Hey dad, I dyed my hair blue

«Hey dad, i dyed my hair blue»

A dark, blurry home video shows a young person moving around a bedroom and hiding behind furniture or a large cardboard box while another man appears nearby. The caption claims, «Hey dad, i dyed my hair blue», but the frantic sneaking and ominous Mareux track make it feel like an absurdly dramatic reaction to an ordinary confession. It works as a reaction meme for hiding from someone after making a minor change or expecting an exaggerated parental response.
