When 2014 Feels Ancient

When the 8 years old kid tells you that he was born in 2014

What it means

A grainy fantasy-style video shows a bearded, weathered-looking man reacting dramatically after an 8-year-old says he was born in 2014. The exaggerated shock and despair turn the child’s relatively recent birth year into an absurd reminder of aging, while Susumu Hirasawa’s dark, dramatic song “Gats” makes the reaction feel epic and apocalyptic.
