Me when my commanding officer tells me to fire on the refugee children (I was following orders I had no choice)
A Minion sits at a control station, then grins and laughs maniacally after being told to fire on refugee children. The joke is extremely dark and satirical, mocking the excuse of blindly following orders; it is used as an absurd reaction to someone doing something horrific while denying responsibility. The clip is accompanied by Brennen Suarez’s upbeat song “Gift For You,” whose cheerful mood creates an ironic contrast with the disturbing caption and makes the punchline more unsettling.
