Duolingo Sends an Intruder Alert
DUOLINGO 08:11 Looks like you forgot your Spanish lessons again. You know what happens now! ADT 08:11 Intruder Alert (Back Door). Proceed with caution. oh god oh fuck
A fake phone notification screenshot shows Duolingo threatening someone for forgetting their Spanish lessons, immediately followed by an ADT home-security intruder alert. The joke treats Duolingo’s reminders as a genuinely dangerous threat, making the alarm appear to confirm that the owl has come for the user. It is sent as an exaggerated reaction to persistent reminders or fear of disappointing Duolingo.
