World Peace Map
World Peace
A world map remains unchanged while the caption “World Peace” appears at the bottom. The hopeful phrase becomes ironic because the map shows a world still divided into separate countries, while Bastille’s dramatic indie pop song “Pompeii” plays over it, creating a bittersweet, grandly emotional joke about the impossible dream of global peace.
But if you close your eyes Does it always feel like nothing changed at all?
