Alexa Puts Penny in Plug Socket
BBC NEWS Alexa tells 10-year-old girl to put penny in plug socket
A BBC News-style image shows an Amazon Alexa speaker, followed by a dramatic image of the device surrounded by lightning and rain. The joke imagines Alexa giving a dangerously bad instruction, implying that following it causes an electrical disaster. It is used as an absurd reaction to misleading advice or technology gone wrong.
