Thread of Prophecy Severed
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created.
A humorous photo shows two men in black leather jackets posing in front of bookshelves, paired with a dramatic fantasy video-game warning about a character’s death severing the thread of prophecy. The joke is that the men are treated like an essential game character whose death has broken fate, so the viewer must reload a save or accept a doomed world. It is used as an absurd reaction to someone leaving, disappearing, or causing an irreversible problem.
