Beware of the Pipeline
BEWARE OF THE PIPELINE MARVEL STUDIOS Happy Madison WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY QUENTIN TARANTINO C A24 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 you cannot tell from his physical appearance but he is becoming more and more mentally ill
A five-panel progression shows the same anime-style young man looking increasingly unsettling from 2017 to 2021, beneath logos for Marvel Studios, Happy Madison, Quentin Tarantino, C, and A24. Robert Downey Jr. appears below with the caption explaining that the person’s worsening mental state cannot be judged by his physical appearance. The joke is about a supposed film or media pipeline gradually making someone mentally ill, often sent as an absurd reaction to intense fandom or increasingly strange interests.
