How Do You Stop the Phalanx?
How do you even stop this I mean seriously??? The Macedonian phalanx, here shown in its fighting formation of 256 men, the syntagma.
A social media post asks, “How do you even stop this?” beneath an illustration of a tightly packed Macedonian phalanx formation with overlapping spears and shields. The joke treats the ancient military formation as an absurdly unstoppable force, making it a reaction to something overwhelming or impossible to counter.
