Never Ask a German Company

Never ask a woman Her Age A man His Salary A german company, what they were doing between 1933 and 1945

The meme shows cartoon illustrations of a woman and a man, followed by a Volkswagen office building. It jokes that sensitive questions about a woman’s age and a man’s salary are nothing compared with asking a German company what it did during the Nazi era from 1933 to 1945. It is used as a darkly humorous reaction to uncomfortable historical questions. EN: The meme shows cartoon illustrations of a woman and a man, followed by a Volkswagen office building.
