God Removes the Ladder
I want to refresh I climb into the pool God removes the ladder God removes the ladder
Gru from Despicable Me is shown with a Sims-style plumbob above his head. He decides to refresh by climbing into a pool, but God removes the ladder, leaving him unable to get out; the joke captures an absurdly self-defeating situation and is used as a reaction to bad decisions or sudden consequences.
