My Car Will Not Start
By Myself With Parents With Girlfriend My car will not start
A three-panel speedometer meme shows the car apparently moving at the same speed when driven alone, with parents, or with a girlfriend, followed by a confused man saying, “My car will not start.” The joke is the absurd contradiction: the car seems to be moving in every situation, yet the speaker claims it will not start, making it useful as a reaction to an impossible or nonsensical excuse.
