Shrek Imperial vs Metric
The Imperial System The Metric System 1 Kg = 1000 g 1 g = 1000 mg
A four-panel meme contrasts Shrek looking skeptical beside a confusing diagram labeled “The Imperial System” with Shrek smiling beside the simple metric conversions “1 Kg = 1000 g” and “1 g = 1000 mg.” The joke is that the metric system feels much more logical and easy to understand than the imperial system, making it a reaction to confusing measurements or unnecessarily complicated rules.
