Prepare for the Lightning

1 day until 9/10/21 Prepare...

A blurry city building sits beneath a stormy sky as lightning flashes and a tiny silhouetted figure appears suspended in the air. The tweet dramatically warns “Prepare...” for the approaching date, turning an ordinary countdown into an absurd apocalyptic event. Yoko Shimomura’s dramatic orchestral track “OMNIS LACRIMA” makes the joke feel like an epic final-battle prophecy, so it works as a reaction to an ominous countdown or an overhyped event.
