My Dad With a Fish vs Me

Text on the meme

My dad with a fish / My dad with me

What it means

A two-panel comparison shows a father proudly holding a large fish in one photo, then posing stiffly with his daughters at a birthday celebration in another. The joke is that the father appears much happier and more enthusiastic about catching a fish than about spending time with his children, making it a sarcastic reaction to questionable parental priorities.
