Oh, You Play Light Games

oh, you play HADES UNDERTALE BAYONETTA GUILTY GEAR OMORI VALORANT OVERWATCH GENSHIN IMPACT APEX LEGENDS Yakuza FINAL FANTASY Animal Crossing New Horizons how long have you been in the light community?

A collage of video game logos is framed by the sarcastic question “oh, you play how long have you been in the light community?” The joke contrasts games with relatively bright or colorful aesthetics against darker, heavier games such as Hades, Bayonetta, Guilty Gear, Omori, and Yakuza, teasing someone for being new to the “light” gaming community. It is used as a reaction to someone whose game library is dark, intense, or emotionally disturbing despite appearing colorful.
